Unlucky although not entirely surprising, the ease in which you can injure yourself on an off roader keeps me well away from them biggrin

Tis true Dave , the enduro / green laning idea sort of fell apart and the full on mx track / technical quarry trials type terrain is all we've done so far - I reckon I fell off about 8 times yesterday trying stuff just not yet ready for and pure mud drenched slippy wet rocks constantly shifting isn't the best induction ground ...... However , 5 hrs later and X-ray shows .... not broken, badly sprained and bruising on the bone , swelling puffed it out on joint and made it look kinked as if broken .....good news, but still bloody sore ....false alarm drama queen scare .......oops smile

I like that a lot, I keep looking at early R6's I might have to buy one.
Look up liner problems/engine failure, you'll change your mind fast. 5SL onwards if you want an R6.

Sometimes it is better breaking it. My ankle has had two operations now to try and fix damaged ligaments and it will never be right.

Really love the idea of trials/enduro riding, it has been the plan for years for winter outdoor pursuits, but personal/work life stops play many times on this idea.

250/300/450? Looks great in the six days colour scheme.
thanks guys. It is a 350. Took it out at the weekend to run it in - engine is just sublime, feels like power of 450 but light enough to chuck around.

Anchor essential for insurance!

ZX6R P8F traded in. S1000RR 14-reg traded out.

Ridden in rain mode only, more than enough bike - but worlds apart from the ZX6R..

So much easier to ride... i do not know why i left it so long to trade up.

Not told the missus yet.. She will go mental.

Envelope pushed.

Got my eye on a dirt/enduro bike - but baby comes first in March.

Get it out of rain mode. The traction control will kick in as soon as you open the throttle in a straight line whilst bolt upright.

Just tell the Mrs with your extra responsibilities as a father , you thought the extra safety given by the electronics of the BMW will keep you out of harms way ...nice bike mate, you'll appreciate every mile out on that when the baby arrives!
