Just tell the Mrs with your extra responsibilities as a father , you thought the extra safety given by the electronics of the BMW will keep you out of harms way ...nice bike mate, you'll appreciate every mile out on that when the baby arrives!
PH bike banter thinking right there .....BobSaunders said:
ZX6R P8F traded in. S1000RR 14-reg traded out.
Ridden in rain mode only, more than enough bike - but worlds apart from the ZX6R..
So much easier to ride... i do not know why i left it so long to trade up.
Not told the missus yet.. She will go mental.
Envelope pushed.
Got my eye on a dirt/enduro bike - but baby comes first in March.

Those S1000R's look fantastic .Just outside the historic town of Cuenca. Just amazing roads
Somewhere north of Unã, it was the best experience of total freedom.
Cap'n who served us lunch on the Med at his taverna.
Overlooking Granada as we rolled into town as sunset fell:
And we did about 75 miles of this between Motril towards Almeria...
What a fantastic roadtrip with ChipChap. Roads were epic. The best part of 1600 miles motorway-free, across some of Spain's most brilliant roads down south and through several national parks. Bikes were perfect - the GS and RS: BMW really know how to make bikes that can do big mileages at pace, in comfort, which are also fun. Have loads more pics and vids to share.

Good effort Bob I like these a lot.
Did you get it from Superbike factory ?
Hunts on Kingsway - superb service. I actually bought it about seven weeks ago, but they stored it whilst i went on holiday.Did you get it from Superbike factory ?
Still need to go and collect a box of bits from them - original exhaust etc.
Wouldn't touch superbike factory with a barge-pole, heard some horrendous stories - one from a guy on here(?).

May nip to the Kingsley place on the way home from work one day. Sorry but I'm new to the biking world, me and my sister have been to superbike factory to sit on and have a feel of some bikes I fancy purchasing after eventually passing the mod 1/2. They seem quite nice and both of us will most probably purchase from therein the future via finance. They seem to have decent prices too. What's the issue with them? Is it a one off kind of issue? On another note, I would love to one day travel to another country on the bike. Heard many good stories about it. Persuading the wife though...
