If you can have silver tape for knee sliders, you can believe that will have been at a GP..

Great pic..

I've seen that pic before and found out where it was, but I've forgotten now! It was some test before Silverstone GP in 1980 or 81. Or it was the Tuesday or Weds of GP week at Silverstone. It cannot be anywhere near race day as it is not stting it down with rain!

I love it when a plan comes together. Daxideofthemoon starts getting serious(ly ridiculous).

Big block on small wheels,

190cc and ~20hp in a chassis that was designed for 5hp about half a century ago.

Tin will be beefed up in motor mount/swingarm area, swingarm +12 should keep front wheel down (mostly)

Next on the list : correct swingarm bearing distancing / alignment, electrics, new intake for 28mm Dell´Orto,

halfway decent exhaust which will reduce power from 23 to 20 but hopefuly keeps cops away.

4piston caliper and braided line, too, "Gofast Bikes need Stopfast brakes", to quote an old slogan.

On the long list : raked steering bearing cups and raked triple trees for kicking out front wheel

and, if possible, more castor for more stable ride.
First thing I thought of :P

I remember reading an article about how Kenny Roberts wasn't well known in America and people would say "sure we know Kenny Rodgers, he's sung some cool songs".

Hence, old farts like me refer to him as Kenny Rodgers.

Interesting bike smile more importantly is that proper secure motorcycle/scooter parking? Or is that in a cycle spot?
In London if they installed this the wardens/attendants would still issue you a ticket for parking on the pavement- bylaws in london prevent any vehicle doing this.

Yes, that is more important.

Some random pics from the classic show at Newark over the weekend.

Loved the look of this..

Freshly restored 750 Turbo, yours for around 12k..was fitted with a NOS exhaust system which apparently cost £1500 on its own..
