A picture a day....biker banter (Vol 4)
Discussion
Good day working on the bike today. I'm enjoying not having to ride every day at the moment and it has meant that the VFR doesn't have to be as practical anymore. So it went from this:
To this:
Also as I have broken the Thunderace for parts I thought I would treat the VFR to these:
The brakes are now much better and the clutch is a lot lighter which helps as it was noticeably heavy with the heavier springs I put in with the EBC clutch kit last year.

Bit of evening riding in the Vosges last September.
Bet we're not the only BB people to have been to this McDonalds. I think I've been three times now… any guesses to where it is? No cheating by looking at the Exif data!

Got 3 of my 4 old strokers out of the garage yesterday (the GT550 is awaiting a re-chromed front mudguard), and went for a little tootle around the village on the 185 as a post rebuild shakedown run.
The GT250's exhausts are away for re-chroming and the DT250 needs registering here in the UK, but it's not QUITE spring yet.
I was contemplating firing the LC up tomorrow and going for a wee spin, your picture has has helped me decide, hopefully no gritters out tonight..The GT250's exhausts are away for re-chroming and the DT250 needs registering here in the UK, but it's not QUITE spring yet.

It's at the top of the Route Napoleon just outside La Mure. We always end up there at lunchtime before heading south to do the whole Route Napoleon. Once or twice we've needed to take advantage of the air-con in there!anonymous said:

I only really got round to putting it back together about a month ago but realised that I couldn't really justify the money it needed spending on it. Perhaps if I'd started straight after I'd have fixed it but as usual life gets in the way and priorities change so I'm unlikely to do any track days this year meaning fixing it would have been a bit pointless.
