Cool. Vaguely in the market for a 1000K1/2 or a 750Y/K3.

As you were - enjoy the 'Storm, my fave roadbike for real life.

Haha, great. More of a lager and pot noodle man myself. All the vitamins and minerals a body needs. :-)

Re: Pod - Gawd, then I'd be in more trouble.

False leg flapping In the breeze.

Should I feel bad about laughing at your comment? I don't think so, fair play to you, its a lot more than most of us could ever achieve with one leg. I often look at your photos and think how the fook does he achieve that with one leg . smile
I remember the time he broke his foot and got his mates to strap it up using a piece of flat metal and cable ties.
What a leg-end
I remember the time he broke his foot on the way to devils bridge and when he told us someone from here (I forget who) was very concerned asking if he was ok.
Fair play indeed biggrin I didn't realise until he posted a certificate or something a good while ago from when he did a track session or something with John McGinness + Daft as a brush Pink wig wheelies laugh

Fooking loon beer
The foot breaks quite regularly, I had another new one fitted last September.

I have a few spares if you need them but reckon you'll need a few extra socks

I've tried the rubber sock/cuff but couldn't get away with it, I use the leather strap arrangement.

Have you ever caught the toes walking up steps that pulls your leg off.

I use a pin lock sheath day to day(including biking and bicycling) which is very secure and has only come off once(a mountain bike fall) I've tripped over a step but its never pulled the leg off. The vacuum/ silicon sleeve system works well for running/hiking and the inner sheath is more cushioned but if you sit still for a while the seal leaks and it takes a few steps to reseal the vacuum.

One thing I struggle with(and clearly you don't) is riding a bike with my knee bent beyond about 80 degrees without the back of the prosthetic digging into the back of my knee. Is your bike leg cut down at the back?

It is but it still pinches due to the socks balling up. The titanium pin in my thigh and the 3 screws holding my hip together have just about ruled me out of riding sports bikes now, 30 minutes and the pain just about becomes unbearable.

It's my "good" leg that stops me doing the running/cycling stuff, my ankle/foot/toes and lower leg had crush and splinter fracture injuries.

He does indeed

Have quite a few memories of him disappearing up the road on the back wheel. But I am slower than a second cum.
