A picture a day....biker banter (Vol 4)
Discussion
A chap a few of us on here know has bought this trailer and categorically assures us that this is the prescribed and only manner in which the bike should be tethered to it, despite our initial worries/advice ( triangulation, high/wide points, centre of gravity , marginal suspension compression etc.)
He is one of those rather "proud" sorts , with a tad of stubbornness thrown in.....
Who else thinks it shall come to a rather noisy and gut-churning demise, probably at the end of his street ...?
( We tried...!)......

I guess we shall just have to wait and see...!
As for the garage ,John, you do know him, not well, but have met ....TBC...
Don't get me wrong - I don't wish for anything bad to happen, but as opposed to the tyre-down appliances in the other tilted trailer/low strap position, this one is straight to the swingarm and front spindle with a very short and low strap in each case....the open ends of the trailer front wheel-stay are quite splayed and open , more so with a thinner front offroad tyre than a superbike tyre up against it......
If it works for an offroad venture, where some of the tracks and lanes to the places we ride are extremely broken, rutted and precarious, then I guess it may experience the full upright weight of a lovely near new Triumph 675R in due course..., maybe.

Spent most of today doing my best to make my VTR look more presentable with a variety of potions and some wire wool, a going over with some some brushes on my Dremel and scotchbrite pads
Some before and afters.
Taken some years off it I think.
Belly pan had years worth of ste in it which took some time to clean off but overall its come up much better I think.
