Yep it is ... I plan to remove and sort whilst the suspension is being done.and garage floor is dirty, cardboard boxes strewn everywhere and the mops are untidy in the box, c'mon Scott.....
Garage is a mess as I'm working on the Wife's old car to prepare for sale at the same time so st everywhere!
(yes I know - too easy)
Had some free time today and it was dry and sunny so I decided I would get my Aprilia out. Took the battery out of my wardrobe where it had lived since October, chucked it on the bike and it fired up instantly. Bloody unreliable Italian tat
Quick oil check, lube of the chain and sort the tyre pressures (which had only dropped 3psi all winter although it has been on paddock stands) and went out for a little 45 mile bimble. I forgot how torquey it is, and I nearly went over the bars first time I braked! Too used to riding my thundercat all winter.
Got back and gave it a good clean, thought I'd chuck a bucket over the daily whilst I had the stuff out. An enjoyable day, it feels like spring is here although rain forecast for the next week or so now.

As you say mate, bring the battery inside and most will need no other TLC over Winter, nice couple of bikes to choose from, depending on the need and mood.Quick oil check, lube of the chain and sort the tyre pressures (which had only dropped 3psi all winter although it has been on paddock stands) and went out for a little 45 mile bimble. Bought this today for my wife who struggles a bit with bigger bikes due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. I suspect I'll be having a wee shot now and again for fun.
I hope she gets on well with it, I wouldnt be able to resist having a go too...The (much) earlier 2 stroke Van Vans go for serious money now but at least you she can use that on a regular basis.podman said:

MOT time for the twins. After a long lay up over the winter, both fired up first time this year, and passed with flying colours after a short bimble to the test centre. Advisories on both, "Noisy exhaust"
"Noisy exhausts"? You dont say! What a pair of stunners..
