That track looks awesome
It seems great to me. I popped my dirt track cherry this afternoon on it. Bloody hell I was tired afterwards.

Bloody hell Dan that looks amazing !
Would be great to have a ride with you up there on the off-roaders some time if possible , have some friends with a cottage up in Dumfries we visit now and then so not a million miles for an en route visit with the bike nailed on the rack on the car !

Re: Visit - Of course! Emi was just asking about you both last month. I need some help on the dirt, currently all over the place and I wuss out over the jumps.

Cheers Dan , that was shortly before a massive crash which really knocked the stuffing out of me and another couple of laps was all I could manage so don't be too impressed , I'm not as "good" as Tony or Simon (yet?) but getting there ... we were on a very very hard compacted chalky and dry mud circuit yesterday and with the dusty grit on top of the graded surface , it was like grease on a track , I got greedy and cocky and pushed too much pace into a turn and carried brake into the lean and folded the front hard at about 35-40 ended up flat facedown for a good way and ended with the bike facing backwards lying plumb across my thigh....
Bike was lifted off me and warning given to approaching riders , and even with ALL the right protective gear - full armour under suit, kidney belt , knee/ shin protectors , gloves etc I was fair grazed and badly bruised but collar bone held up despite proper whack .....
I shall reel it back a bit now until I get a bit better as I nearly took myself out , meaning I'd miss our 1.5 hour Enduro event at Parkwood ( Tong) next Sunday .... I'll ride, but I'll be st ...!
Look forward to catching up soon mate !

KR1 hadnt turned a wheel in 6 months and I hadnt laid a spanner on it but she fired up 3rd kick, for me no better riding experience on these roads on the 250s , headed over to OyB for a cuppa with my mate on his gorgeous RGV, what a great day to be out and about.
Where is that Podman?Nice Pepsi by the look of it - Very rare bike! (I've got an original Pepsi VJ21 SP in my collection).
I think ive seen a pic of your SP, you get out on the Spondon RG over weekend?

Exiting druids yesterday
Got P16 and P15 in the two powerbike races with NG, although could have got P14 in race one if I didn't make a couple of mistakes. Still an awesome weekend though

Great going that - saw you dropped into the 1.49s in the race and sub 1.50 at Oulton is bloody good !

Yeah did a few 1:49s but think I can definitely go faster! If I can get the time off work I'm going to do Wirral 100 there in a couple of weeks so hopefully get sub 1:47 then!

Fleegle as he lives and breathes and back in the saddle on an off-roader for the first time in years ..... the boys not lost it ..5 mins in and he was on it ...!
He certainly hasn't, but he needs to!! That's more than just body armourFirst time on the WR in a little over 2 years and have to say I had a great laugh. I'm pedestrian compared to some of the guys that were there, but I'm there for the fun of it and not to be the fastest
I managed a clean sheet but my arms are suffering today

That is on the road from Wing, just outside Leighton Buzzard, lovely stretch of road going through Cublington, Oving and meeting up with the A41 Aylesbury Road right near near Waddesdon mate.

Some lovely roads in that area, I did a very similar route (in the opposite direction) with a friend a few weeks back. Right on my doorstep and perfect for a quick midday blast when the weather is good I think ive seen a pic of your SP, you get out on the Spondon RG over weekend?
Took the 1100 for it's first ride this year, it's had rust issues inside the fuel tank, had a mate put a dab of weld in one area but I had no option but to use a tank sealant for the other impossible to access areas, shame since the paint on it is mint.

My mate Sammy had that model back in the 90's with a rather loud Cobra exhaust on it. Great looking bike you have there Edited by unclepockets on Monday 10th April 00:42
