New bikes are great but they can feel a bit cold espically now with all the electronic bks.
My honest advice would be if you're happy with your bike and it is in good condition is keep it.
I sold my 04 R1 only because I couldn't ride it more than 20 minutes without severe discomfort. Like your bike that bike of mine could and did piss over everything if I was in the mood for it.
New bikes and cars do not stay new for long and I can see the current stuff being a pain in the arse repair wise in years to come, not that will affect me because my 50cc moped and 125 do not have any electronics apart from lights and indicators
That's the reasoning that's kept me on the GSXR for 10 years now. I certainly haven't (and will never) out grown it in terms of wanting more performance. I have a bit of a yearning to be able to open the throttle and lean on TC in corner exits - but I think that's just to experience it more than really wanting or needing it. The main reason I'd change is just to try something different and try to refresh my enjoyment of motorbikes.... And having said that, my trip across through Wales on Saturday was simply wonderful. The last few miles (the last 30 of 300) were a little bit uncomfortable, but that's going to be my bike fitness more than anything else.My honest advice would be if you're happy with your bike and it is in good condition is keep it.

I'm not sure that people who don't have TC, ABS etc understand that they are rarely used. There seems to be a perception that those of us with more recent bikes are incapable hamfisted buffoons who rely on all the aids to get them out of trouble at every single corner. Gavia said:

You've misunderstood, or I've explained myself badly. I don't think there is anything hamfisted about riding a bike with rider aids. I'm sure some lean on them constantly / regularly on track and they become a performance aid (don't think I would), but I'm sure on the road they serve primarily as a safety net.I don't ride a bike looking for the limits. That's something I keep for 4 wheels. But if I go for a bike with aids, I'm sure I'd be trying to explore / provoke them - not regularly, just for the experience. And of course I'd be very grateful if / when they saved me.
A mate of mine has just picked his up fully loaded with all the kit, once run in at gets mapped and the full system added.
It even has a smart phone dock under the rear seat, you can connect the phone to the bike and all info is displayed on the TFT display.

Exiting druids yesterday
Got P16 and P15 in the two powerbike races with NG, although could have got P14 in race one if I didn't make a couple of mistakes. Still an awesome weekend though

That's because there's too much ballast on the first 2 bikes, Hebegb is a pure racing snake
A modest racing snake at that!
