A picture a day....biker banter (Vol 4)
Discussion
Had the mighty 443 Meister call round on me for a brew this afternoon , reminding me of how incredibly skilled and creative he is in throwing this work of art together from scratch ....and on kicking it up and leaving later , wow ,what a gorgeous racket of crispness and power , this thing is nearly ( his words) set up properly now - will be just amazing I reckon , power to weight ratio of a GP bike ! ( ok , maybe a 2...)...
Congrats once again Ryan :

Never fails to get me excited seeing pictures of that....Congrats once again Ryan :
Been out on the bikes all weekend, been fab.
Anyone get to the OyB open yesterday or today ?
Ive never seen it so busy.
James Hiller took a shine to the KR's.
Loved listening to Freddie Spencer talking about the late 70's/early 80s going from racing the NR500 to his championship winning NS500's.
My mate took the seat hump from his NS400 for Freddie to sign, which he did no problem, what a gent and what a day out.
Later on ended up catching up with Mr 996 for a blat, the old 9/16/96/98 shape still has it eh?

I was standing on my front steps ( sloping drive) and slightly behind it nearest the cans where I took the second pic, when he kicked it over - first kick was a bit short and it popped a backfire which nearly killed a passing elderlyneighbour ( and the little dog he was walking ) , second kick and - boom - nearly killed me , I'm not feint hearted , quite well accustomed to live-round gunfire ( living in the North , of course ) but I damn near fell off the steps and into the drive - it's brutal , not ridiculously loud , per se, but just brutal !
Awesome

Yep - was a great day! Had my first ride of the R in over 6 months, met up with my old Rizla K6 sold to a mate, and had a great ride out with ChipChap and others.Anyone get to the OyB open yesterday or today ?

That didn't take long? How come you're selling?
Few reasons -I've always had snotters and made them progressively worse - I don't want to to do that with this!
I've come close to knocking it over a few times - again don't want to wreck it
I struggle getting on and off it (I'm 5ft 9/10ish) so again see point above.
Main factor is it doesn't give me that warm feeling knowing it's mine. That might partly be due to the loan on it which I will pay some off and get a cheaper commuter/tourer and an enduro bike I think.
