The real shame is they're fantastic bikes when going well.

I was adamant it was the bike for me but it just leaves me feeling a little cold, even if 5th gear wheelies with 3 figures on the clock (over a crest I might add) are possible

Not sure how the LC8 motor can leave you feeling cold. It's a hooligan.

The motor doesn't, the bike as a whole does.

The engine is an absolute peach... apart from it's thirst. Although twin & hooligan tendencies might be the main cause of that.

I'll have a read, it's WELL over my budget though, and I've just bought a bike!


My new VFR800fi (pre-VTEC), 23k miles, bloody brilliant condition. The new commuter workhorse which has replaced my trusty CB400. Filled up the Tuono today with V-Power for the last commute on it until Summer gets here again (it runs like a tractor on regular unleaded I've found!) and I got a whopping 32mpg commuting!
