Just bought myself a cheap (£250) to run about over the winter months!
Makes a winter jacket look poor value for money!

Quite possibly leaning on the actual bike he lost his life on - the Killer K.

Racing Teapot in the background as well.
Quite possibly, they were like a pogo stick after a lap of the tt on standard suspensionyikes

A few pic's from Calne Bike Day last weekend. All bikes for which I would have happily have made space in the garage... particularly the black Shovel, Velo' and yellow Triumph...

It does doesn't it? Just about £500 all in insured taxed etc, not the best of car but will see me through my daily commute easy enought during the winter months.

You know you have a good bunch of mates when they take their whole Friday night to help you out. They were rewarded with a fish butty and some disgusting strawberry and lime cider.

Started at 630, finished at 1130 last night.
Diamond rearsets are awesome but they didn't come with all the correct bolts so took ages to figure out. Plus they fouled the side stand bracket without some spacers.

Also the hm quickshifter didn't get fitted as hm didn't know the r6 standard shift rod is a 6mm rose joint at top and 8mm bottom so I've spent all morning sourcing a 6mm one that I can use with the hm shift rod.

I wanted a change in colour with my track fairing that my BIL painted a while back.

So I thought I have the small air compressor, gun and a little knowledge so thought I would paint it myself and it's not perfect but bloody happy with how it turned out

Pain from http://www.specialistpaints.com/products/luminous-... and this is lumo Yellow by the by

I wanted bright and Lumo was going to be either yellow orange or I was looking at Dyno rod orange/red RAL 3026

Happy with my choice

Another lovely summers day here in the Lakes, looking out of the window and its like this

Makes me think of living in sunnier climes and the endless summers and blue skies surrounded by empty twisty roads

Had my tank re painted on the LC at the start of this year. Last night I filled the tank up and parked it on the centre stand, went back in the garage a couple of hours later to the smell of petrol and find that petrol had leaked out of the cap and run down the side of the tank lifting the sticker.

With the cap being on the side at an angle this is how it has leaked, I suspect that the cap is a pattern item just like the fuel tap that leaked when left switched on.

I've just ordered another full set of graphics again and will have to order more paint and lacquer and pay to have it all stripped and then re painted again, I'll also order a genuine filler cap from Yamaha

That's another £350-£400 for fk all again!

That is a kick in the balls mate. Modern unleaded is fking evil stuff. I've lost the transfers off the side of one of my tanks recently that had survived God knows how many years.
