For what little it's worth, I reckon the ZX10 is a damn fine package and hard to beat. Considering it's price vs the others there's plenty of scope to add some decent suspension and maybe the Kit ECU.
And considering you're a tall lad, the ZX is quite stretched out, might suit you nicely....
Yeah, I've rode a ZX10 and BMW and I fitted them OK.And considering you're a tall lad, the ZX is quite stretched out, might suit you nicely....
I'll tell you what I was close to doing, getting the old R1 back out and shipping the motor to Pete Beal to have a WSB tune together with Ohlins forks and a new rear shock.
Trouble is, its too bloody old like me.

Ahh, we're all getting old mate! I'll tell you what I was close to doing, getting the old R1 back out and shipping the motor to Pete Beal to have a WSB tune together with Ohlins forks and a new rear shock.

Cannot wait for the instalment where you reinstate the ABS system - most fun!
Hmm, I'm not looking forward to that bit.If you try and bluff it then it is possible to get an awesome lever that stops the bike when you push it around and then have absolutely no brakes when you go for a ride round the block.

Bleeding procedure differs from model year to year and is a few pages of A4 long.

Quite possibly leaning on the actual bike he lost his life on - the Killer K. Racing Teapot in the background as well.
My first year at the TT, watched that race at Keppell Gate - the landlord at the B&B turned the news up at dinner, the room went quiet when we heard that Phil (and Steve Henshaw in Whitham's crash) were killed in that race.

Did think it was a road bike in replica colours but now see the rear footrests are actually cable tied up. But as I said, that proddy race they ran standard pipes, not sure about the suspension but photos of that day show most bikes with badly scraped pipes & fairing lowers.
iirc Phil was riding with cracked ribs having taken a tumble in parc ferme after one of the earlier races in the week.

Hopefully seeing him next week prior to the Snetterton BB thing to re-spring the GSXR (my own new track bike that I don't fit comfortably in a slightly familiar way!). I've now managed to fit the footrests on so low the bellypan no longer fits - what could go wrong??!

You should have had a Go-Pro fitted or a 25mm cine wheel projector. moto_traxport said:
If you haven't got Honda 'contacts' I'll see if I can scan the destructions off a friend and mail them up to you. I would need the exact model year though.

That would be great, its a 2012 ABS model.
