So what possible argument is there for having to remove a helmet?
I don't know. I don't own a petrol station. Maybe they want to see the faces of their customers, maybe they know that crash helmets are used by robbers, instead of balaclavas, maybe they just want to see people's shiny white teeth.

Whatever the reason is, it is the vendors prerogative if they want you to take off your helmet before they will serve you. If you don't like it then you can shop elsewhere.

Out of interest would you walk into many shops still wearing your helmet? Would you walk down the High St doing so?
So by that mentality we can ban the Burqa biggrin

My second paragraph deals with this.

One is an item of pryoective clothing that doesn't need to be worn off a motorbike, the other is a religious garment. Whether it's liked or loathed is irrelevant as to the laws surrounding the right to wear it and the protection afforded to cultures, creed, race, sex, age and religion.

.....You could see more of people's faces with a helmet on!!!
Except the Stig. Couldn't make anything out through that visor, and I'm sure he went on public transport and into petrol stations like that.

If some of you would take the fking time to read the posts then LoonR1 wont need to consistently repeat himself.

If you dont want to take off your lid in someone elses fking petrol station then fk off and go to another one! How fking hard is it to understand?!!

Do you go to the shops with your lid on?
Do you walk into the office with your lid on?

We get it you dont like Burkha's and this is an ideal oppertunity to have a dig at that minority. Well done you!
There are 64 million people in this country. People robbing fuel and the petrol stations are taking the small precaution of asking people to remove their lids. So fking what? The instance of small women in Burkha's robbing people is so low that they are choosing to allow them to maintain their religeous practice of vielling themselves to be modest. That up to them and its up to the petrol stations on what policies they would like to implement.

I can understand why certain stations have a get off your bike, take of your lid and refeul policy. Its probably just harder to run off with fuel after you have dismounted, removed your lid!
Not by much, but the petrol stations are taking the required steps to protect themselves!

Get over it! Grow up.

Write to the fuel companies involved. Because your boring us to fking tears.
