Aprilia 650 Pegaso.....I'm tempted....anyone here owned one
Discussion
I gave my son my ducati a couple of years ago and didn't replace it with anything, I'm tempted by a 650 Pegaso for sale locally. I've done getting cold and wet so it will only be used on sunny days for the odd journey of no more than 25 miles or so; mostly just local bimbling about.
The OH hates bikes and will be unlikely to go on the back so not fussed about pillion stuff.
Mainly it's do they cost fortunes to look after (I'm just recovered from the ducati servicing cost shock 2 years later). Will it start if I haven't used it for a few weeks.
Are parts only available from italy on one thursday a year and only then if the unobtanium mineral mine is open.
Thanks for your thoughts

Go for a BMW G650 Xcountry instead.
Better, but almost the same bike, proper ones pre 2008 were built in the aprillia factory and are lighter and have better parts.
These bikes are pretty fun, can skip and bounce down a b road like nothing else. Don't expect any shove above 80 though.
