I've just chucked BT broadband in after they wouldn't connect me to fibre and gone over to EE, from this I'm going to get rid of SKY too as we are sick of the bill rises to justify paying £10m per football game.

So is there anyone who has the official MotoGP video pass and streams it to TV? If so is it any good?

Are there any other solid options I.e. not a dodgy Russian website that only works on every second Wednesday in the month.

With streaming I'd be using an iPad and then something like a chromecast to get it on TV.

Thanks.

Keeping a close eye on this one

I'm a sky customer paying £13.50 per month to BT just to watch Moto GP. I have tv, internet and phone through sky so het a fairly good deal.
In August BT is rising this to £19.99 which is a piss take

Got to play around with options as i need to be able to watch live gp

I just paid £50 quid at the weekend to watch the last 10 races on motogp.com, seems like a good deal. Can also go back and watch all previous races..

I went to EE today and got the following,

iPhone 5c 1000mins / unlimited text / 10GB data - £24.99, previous contract £34.99

40mb unlimited fibre broadband / EE TV / phone for £35 inc line rental, previously 1mb BT internet / phone £55 + sky £30

Once I've got MotoGP I'm laughing.

Point your dish at a different satellite and see if you can pick up one of the free to air broadcasters?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_MotoGP_broad...

Or an Australian proxy and the Network 10/One channel broadcast streamed on their website

Austrian Orf + live stream & Austrian proxy - http://tvthek.orf.at/live

Maybe.

I have a VideoPass for the MotoGP website and I think it's really good. I don't have Sky or any kind of TV package because I really don't watch any TV at all. The only thing I do like to watch is MotoGP and once you average out the cost of the season pass across all the races, qualifying sessions, practice sessions and the vast archive of content, it seems like great value for money. Not once have I had any streaming problems, either.

How do you get it from Internet to TV??? I could use Apple play, or possibly stream directly via smart TV. Just curious how you do it??

Put it on your laptop and then hook that up to the TV with an HDMI cable.

Is it guaranteed that the virgin package cost will not increase with the new found BT greedyness? Are you contracted to a set price?
Also being very lazy, how much do you pay for these packages?

Some of the deals are good but i dont need some of the sweetners they throw in like mobile phone deals as its covered through work so just need TV with GP and broadband

What's the race commentary like? Do you get any pre and post race stuff etc.?

Terrible. They miss everything, repeat what the other has just said and both pronounce names of riders differently. It's like Charlie Cox commentating with David Blunkett.

Just had a lengthy online chat with Virgin and they do indeed have some stonking deals on.

Been advised on the 'big kahuna' bundle which is the 152mb broadband, phone line and loads of TV channels. With BT sports and ESPN extra its £65 per month but only £48.99 for first 12 months (18 month contract)

That'll save me about £10 per month when paying full price so decent saving for first 12 months

Is the 2016 GP on BT sport 2 again or BT europe?

For anyone else sick of BT try plusnet for your broadband- they are a owned by BT, cheaper tho, better service, UK only call staff, AND you can get BT sport as an add on for about 6 quid ( either a log in to watch online on tablet, laptop, phone etc or you give your Sky viewing card number and you can watch it on Sky.

Lots of sites will stream BT Sport if you google them. All of the ones I have come across have been super reliable. No need to pay, just ensure you have an ad blocker.
