Didn't pass CBT :(
Discussion
I did my first CBT 10 years ago and then again last year on a 125cc manual.
It has definitely gotten more difficult over that time. When I did it at 17 years old, I actually drove up the wrong side of the road coming out of a junction and still managed to pass.
When I did it last year, there was a young lad who was a bit wobbly and struggled with the gears. The instructor 'failed' him before he had even gotten on the road.
It does take practice and a good few hours to get some confidence on two wheels. Some people pick it up really quickly, whilst others struggle to take it all in at once.
Personally I found the whole balance/turning/general road craft quite easy (even 10 years after I'd last ridden a bike), but I did have a number of conversations with my instructor on gearing to help me get my head round it.
Keep plugging away at it mate, it is so worth it.
Did my DAS in Feb and now have my full bike licence. Should pick up my first 'big boy bike' in the next couple of weeks.

Just to update you all. I took the CBT road ride element again today and went back to my mum's with a CBT certificate in hand. Got in to hers, insured and taxed my moped, and took it for a little ride around her town through the quiet streets to get used to the different weight and shape of it.
Then I rode it back to my home (I live in a town about 3 miles from her) with her following me behind. A great feeling, no issues with the journey. Sorted.
