Yes, you can just turn up and walk around, but under 16's are not allowed on pit lane.

Yes. Completely free for anyone to turn up and have a walk round garages, or anywhere else on the track. No animals though, so don't bring the dog for a walk!

I did look at getting a side car for the XR so he can come with, but unfortunately no one is making them yet...
