I am hoping to be there Friday night, as long as I get out of work at a decent time and the weather isn't pants. I'll do my best to hold the garage but I do expect to be told to Foxtrot Oscar if the rest of the garages fill up quickly and you lot are still in your warm B&B bedsFleegle said:
That will do for me.PS - can you send me the address for the B&B
PPS - I'm thinking of buying some tyre warmers, are there any makes I should steer clear of?

Better than the one I saw! Met Office app on my phone still shows rain. I'm debating putting Michelin Pilot Road 4's on as insurance for any rain instead of killing off my Rosso Corsas but based on that forecast part of me wants to keep them on. The Pirelli's are near the wear bars and I've got a 150 mile trek to get there and home, yes I'm nuts for riding that far and I need a van. Thoughts people?

Hi Andy,Following a few recommendations on here I bought some Capit tyre warmers, which do the job very well. I haven't tried any others though.
Not sure if you're looking to buy straight away but I'll have them with me on Saturday if you want a look.

Good price too and very, very good temp into the tyres.

Spoke to No Limits today and sorted the garage as best as I can. They've booked the garage next to them, so that will be the next to last garage as you drive in. Here's where the challenge kicks in. We're reliant on the security guard putting a sign on the garage and keeping it locked, but it might not happen.
I can't get down early, as will be coming down with hebegb after he finishes work, so will be 9pm at the earliest. Whilst we can get there early in the morning on Sat, I'm hoping one of us is going to be sleeping over at the circuit and can try to block it out for us.
Any help would be appreciated on this.
Oh and I'd suggest everyone gets there early too. It's going to be a squeeze, but we'll manage it somehow!
If it helps I can pop along Friday afternoon/evening. We live about 50 minutes from the track so not a big deal to drive down. Wont be able to spend the night though. Stupid question, but will they give us key(s)? I could dump my bikes and some gear in the garage on Friday but do not want to leave it unlocked overnight. I'm having logistics nightmares at the minute. Very good chance i might have to ride up and thus won't have tyre warmers or anything else for that matter. Not done a TD without them. Will definitely have to leave before last session too!
I might be able to help you outWhat type of stands do you normally use? I will check my spare warmers still work

Where are you based - profile says Essex ? I am undecided about whether I hire a van or use my single trailer. If it helps, I can hire a van and (or collect your kit and you ride up if the timings don't work)Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
