Off to Snetterton tonight for the Eve session, can't wait. Anybody else from BB going?

Its my local track (for now) :-)

Re: Sessions - I lost count, at least 10 or 12. Not always a full session though, sometimes I came back into pits on a red flag.

Thanks again for help with the rear wheel on the Kawa! I learnt more in 30 minutes about motorcycle mechanics than the last 10 years. :-)

Cool, I'll look out for you, I'm on a white/blue GSXR1000K2, got a mate also coming, first time on a track day and on a Pani 899 with termi's! We are hoping as he is a 1st timer that they will let him on and pass noise test.

Hehe, love your optimism. :-)

Does he have DB-killers/baffles for the Termi's, just in case?

Pls let us know how he gets on. I was forewarned it would be a real struggle.

He's ready to take cash and offer it to the bloke!

I think he has a db killer and standard can in the loft, he's had the termi's on from new and does not have the time or the know how to replace, it has also been remapped to suit termi's

The last time I was there, there was a 1199 with termi's on and as it was his 1st time they let him through. Fingers crossed. he will be gutted if it fails and worse case £39 wasted but a nice ride up from Cambridge. If it does fail he will be booking Cadwell!

Surely you can rev it a bit lower and try and get away with it, as 6.5k on a twin is quite high.

How did you manage 12 sessions?

I thought there was only 7 in a day?

All been said really - brilliant day, shame I didn't have the gopro on/in super selfie mode when I hopped off. Definitely the last time I go out with an instructor banghead (Yes, totally my fault, but still a *tiny* bit miffed)

As for the day - great fun and brilliant to meet/hang out with everyone.

Think poor Daisy's time may be limited - as I was saying before I dropped it, can't see the point in having her as a pure road bike, and it's going to get a bit expensive if I start falling off.. Very lucky with so little damage, but still going to cost a penny or two get it sorted.

EFA: Scott, the greedy bugger had tickets for novice, inters AND fast!!!

I only had to rev the 916 to 5.5k. 50mm Termi's with DB killers in, went through no problem.

When we were there on Saturday, there was a tyre supplier with db killers and other things in stock. They seemed pretty confident they could get any bike through the test...

There was a Pani in the fast group, not sure what exhaust it was running or whether he had db killers but it was loud!

Redback911 senior was a no show for novices, so I stole his group sticker as well as mine. :-)

Don't quote me on this, but a 1199 owner did mention that the 899 is louder due to the 'engine stroke' ? We will soon find out, lovely weather so cant wait,

fingers crossed there aren't too many red flags

I'd just like to echo everything that's been said about Saturdays track day. It was a really brilliant day. Thanks to Simon & Dan for sorting the garage and after a few tips from Graham my last session was by far my best one of the day. And for those that post about BB being cliquey they should get the fk away from their keyboards and try joining in.

A few pics from the day

Just to prove that Mr grumpy does smile now and then;)

The ladies discussing their lines

My lad Phil nicking my bike for a session and my mate Mick on his VFR.

To top off a great day I went from the track to my sister-in-laws who lives a few miles away from the circuit. As always a great time was had by all and I got very...very....drunk drunk

Agreed, it was a great turn out. I've kept that photo, as the silhouette of Snetterton is a bit phallic and mitzy's hand is doing a great job of feeling the girth wink.
