As I moved one bike back it caught the rack on the back of Phil's bike and knocked it over. Sods law says it was near the bench which broke the mirror and fairing. If it had hit the floor first the bar ends and bungs would have saved any damage.

Funny you should say that Andy.
Sunday was spent dossing watching moto gp and on ebay and the tinternet looking for a big loud fk off can for the Ninja biggrin

Wonder if the noise tester will look at me next time and think , awwww shes nice and sensible

Wrong !
Are there many options for your under seat end can or will you need a fulls system to make louder?
Think an end can will just make it sound better
Not chasing any ups in bhp or anything technical
It's not me I'm just doing track stuff for the big smiles
Yoshi RS5 is a nice shape on them.

Sorry to read that Andy. At least its just a plastic panel and mirror.

In other news, just created short Snetterton video from some footage last night: https://youtu.be/v-ZoTFKWkDU

Thanks Graham. The group was combined Inters/Advance. Now I am going to make excuses about not being that fast as my tyres were cold. :-)

On saturday the tyre warmers were a revelation, since getting back into riding I was surprised to see so many folks using them. Then on Saturday I borrowed a set and "WOW!", I ordered the ones that Loon recommended on another thread. Cannot wait for them to arrive.

Re: Song - Oh ya, been waiting on using it after hearing the Radioactive cover by "Within Temptation".

You're right, just the end can will make a huge difference.

After unloading the stuff from the weekend I thought I'd have a bit of tidy up in the garage tonight. As I was bent down moving one bike I heard that horrible plastic breaking sound and saw Phil's bike on the floor

Andy, how did Phil take it? I guess he must of broken the odd window as a boy, smashed an ornament, stole your car, etc. Is the panel repairable or will you need a completely new one?

Oh meant to add, yes. We lost the light, a few folks skipped the last session with tinted visors. WOuld have been ok if the clouds were not around.

Phil took it surprisingly well. The annoying part is along with his KTM 350 he wants to sell it and the put the money towards an 899. So the quick clean and then straight in the classifieds has become a bit more of a drama. Good question about repairing it. I've got all the bits so I might take it to a body shop and see what they can do. I've had a look on ebay and the only one I could find is in the states.

Hi All ! Right - I may have appeared a bit nonchalant without a post since Saturday - about Saturday - well, quite simply , after getting home and unloading bike ( cheers Loon -driver)by about 9.30 and then a couple of beers watching recorded MotoGP Quali from Brno...all of a sudden it was Sunday - knackered ..
Saturday was an absolute blast - in every way , we'd had a good run down from mine Fri night but only hit the pub/hotel to meet Fleegle , Mitzy, Andy and Mick by about 10.45 so only managed a few pints before bed : we had eaten on the way down but were greeted with a scotch egg the size of your fist and a pint each from Tony - good lad !
Early up and in to a well sorted garage plan - once the kindly Dan arrived with the key - all 17 in there was some squeeze until we sorted ourselves out naturally during the morning and a couple of the road bikes not using warmers drifted towards the lovely hot sunny outdoors....all good fun.

A great bunch of people , some old faces some new and a cracking day - riding, banter , people helping each other any and every which way all day - gutted I didn't properly meet everyone as I do tend to zone in on my own thing a bit , some people say why so serious ? I guess I am doing my thing my way and that's what I do them for - I do take my bikes'set up, and each session of a trackday seriously otherwise it's just using up tyre and fuel circulating - which is fun in itself but I am looking at next year to push myself a tad and get some actual racing done eventually .
I loved the day and company - Loon, Tony(Fleegle)and Mitzy always having fun , Dan and Emi, Andy and Mick , Chris, Ashley, John - (mototraxport, seriously back in the game by end of day !),
upsidedownman - very good humoured lovely chap - took his little off very well and knew exactly why it happened ...
Just a great great day - loved it all ...
Sunday needed an early start ..big job on...
So...about 1.30pm I start ripping the bike to bits to convert back to "road" ...
Wheels out , tyres to be changed first thing Monday , fairings out of loft , lights, front fairing hanger etc etc, rear pillion pegs the lot - as its due on a trailer with me and Mrs to take up to North Lakes to do some trips out over the next week or so , in between climbing The Old Man of Coniston, Scafell Pike and Helvellyn...
( Mrs wants to do Kilimanjaro next year with her mates ...!)
Also - got a road bike only trackday at Doni next Weds 26th with Loon and OCD and Soofsayer plus a few , so ...
Looking to buy a road bike soon to save doing this mega changeover frequently - bored with it now !
I shall post some pics when I can upload - and a bit of vid , next day or so - cheers and thanks all !

Not Graham! wink

Know what you mean about tyre warmers. Having done Cadwell without, having tyre warmers is definitely in your head but it's good for confidence when you "know" they are hot enough from the off.

Sounds like the bug has well and truly bitten! smile

The day session I think is fully booked, but I may do the eve session, but the wife has to go into Hospital around that date so I may be on call.
