£100 boots recommendation..
Discussion
Puma Brutale Gore-Tex just in budget and are an excellent boot. I've used mine for over 5 years, in some pretty crap weather and they have never leaked. Do try on first as I needed to get a size larger than I normally would.

I have a pair of Sidi rain boots.
I can't comment on their performance because I only travelled 10 foot in them before crashing.
They're unlucky because you've stuck a no. 13 on them. I can't comment on their performance because I only travelled 10 foot in them before crashing.
Mine have no. 4 on, and I've never crashed in them, oh hang on, I have. Nevertheless they're totally waterproof, comfortable and I'd get them again. The soles and heels have nearly worn out though, I don't know if it's possible to re-sole/heel them? Got mine hardly used off ebay for about £40 all in.

Size 13 feet, I don't get blown over in gale force winds easily.Mine have no. 4 on, and I've never crashed in them, oh hang on, I have. A big tree doesn't have small roots.
I've had some Sidi Gore, the one up from the Rain boot, for three or four years now and despite one of the panels coming away over the winter they still keep my feet dry in all but the worst weather ( I ride all year round so they've had some punishment ). I've looked at alternatives but I can't find anything tempting that offers sporty boot with Goretex. Will buy again.

Whooooooowhaaaaa......hold yer few kin horses, I thought these were the Sidi Rain-man model.....and they blatantly are not!
I'm out .
I endorse Sidi boots*. I've got some Cobras and they are ace. I'm out .
- I may look at some Alpinestar boots as the Sidi boots feel amazing on the bike but the plastic on the toes squashes my big toes when walking about. Then again, I am a tart and the Sidis look mint.
Style and comfort!

fine as long as they have real protection in toes/ankles/soles. Feet are one of the most injured parts, even in the slowest of accidents.theres a big range of casual looking bike boots out there now

I've had a pair of Alpinestars S-MX2 boots for the last 2 years and I rate them. Very comfy, don't leak water easily and I still feel well protected on my toes and ankles.http://www.getgeared.co.uk/ALPINESTARS_S-MX2_Motor...

Yes I have although my commute is 6 miles.I first saw them when they won a VisorDown waterproof boot review (http://www.visordown.com/product-features/tested-sub-100-waterproof-motorcycle-boots/25318-10.html#historysub)
Go a size up.
Edit - Actually I wore them to the Isle of Man and it absolutely lashed down. All good.
