I have found myself a Transalp, belonged to a local aircraft engineer, everything on it perfect, newly Mot'd, new tyres, the ghastly looking topbox unclips easily

It does everything I need it to, I've done getting cold and wet on a ducati so I gave it to my son, this will probably never go further than about 40 miles from home..........very chuffed

My Dad still mentions how good his Transalp was despite moving through VFRs and Tiger 800s. Have to say, I think they are a cracking bike, just missing a 6th gear,

My DAS instructor had one, which he let me have a play on.

Great bike, huge but very easy to ride. He swears by it.

Looking at that, you clearly can't see any likeness in the Triumph Tiger, at all, nothing, nada!

Congrats OP, enjoy. It clearly take all sorts wink

BTW, get Loon to get you some scrubs from a trackday if you want to get rid of the chicken strips hehe
