I've been a few times, busy when the weather is good. it;s not bad and I went about 4 weeks ago and must have been about 500 bikes attending from Choppers to sports bikes, scooters etc.. and it was a lovely ride their and the weather was perfect.

But their is a Huge police presence. A shame as it's only the 1% who ride like dicks there but does mean when you get with in 5 miles of WSM you need to keep a eye on your speed.

But saying that I had a good old chat with a Ex policeman who was manning the "Non Working" Speed camera they had set up about speeding, do's a don't and general bike and police stuff.

Worth going if you have never been as long as you don't need to travel to far. I'm about a hour away and thats taking the nice back roads there.

If your more than 2- 2 1/2 hours away I would not bother as people get their about 6 and leave by 8-9PM

Rema has summed it up pretty well; just remember to have a quid handy for parking (it goes to the poppy appeal).

Just for reference a photographer goes along each week and you can see/buy the pictures here for a £5 donation to the British Legion - https://www.flickr.com/photos/westonsupermarebiken...

Had a smashing ride down and home, took me just over 2 hours with a fuel stop..

I thought the meet was really good, nice atmosphere and teh setting was lovely, ive not been to a meet before that a mobile tyre fitter rocks up to, and a seamstress to repairs your leathers!

I've never seen a Jawa like the one behind the KH400 before.
Was that a production bike or something someone has lashed up?

Edited to say that it was a real bike, possibly this one.

The Jawa ,the KH and another old bike where owned by a local restoration company, I got chatting to the chap who informed me it had originated in Austria, from reading the ad, that has to be the bike...good spot!

It was so unusual it piqued my interest, what a strange bike.
Glad you got a photo of the obligatory LC, had my first ever bike crash on the back of one the same colour.
