Cheers.
Would be interesting to see how the system has been installed as it requires quite a bit of plumbing and solenoids to achieve the injection of the NOS or NOS/Fuel mixture. Easy to hide in a cars engine bay, not so easy in a tight superbike.
And apparently a 10lb bottle in a car is good for about 10 1/4 mile runs so I can't see this tiddler lasting too long.
I suspect in this case however it's all show and no go.
A smaller bottle would still last ok on a bike as you're not going to inject as much into a 600cc engine as you would a 5,000cc engine. If real, it would indeed be interesting to see how it's plumbed in, as the design of a bike inlet with separate carbs for each cylinder means it would need 8 jets (4 Nitrous, 4 petrol) normally between the carb and head (i.e. on the inlet manifold but I can't see a seal being achieved on the standard inlet rubbers you get on a bike). The extra fuel pump/solenoids could quite easily be hidden under the tank/seat or in the airbox if needed.Would be interesting to see how the system has been installed as it requires quite a bit of plumbing and solenoids to achieve the injection of the NOS or NOS/Fuel mixture. I guess the real question is why not just by a ZX9R/Fireblade etc rather than go for nitrous......

If you pop the tank off of these bikes you'll see how little room there is to play with. Added to that the need for 4 separate fuel and 4 gas injectors would be interesting to see how it's been achievedI guess the real question is why not just by a ZX9R/Fireblade etc rather than go for nitrous......
And if you go to the NOS website, their bottles don't look anything like this one.
Personally I call custard.........
Oh it can be done, there are kits to fit bikes with and without their original airboxes and for bikes with one intake or 4 separate injectors.... like this one

I still can't see someone spending £500 plus on a roadgoing ZX6 though

When I was younger I used to help my uncle with the nitrous bottles on his road legal drag bike. Just carry this and that and fill it, keep it warm, "Not that fking warm!", that sort of thing. I think ours were from Linde gas but they never had holes in the side of the bottle, only the top, and had walls about an inch thick to cope with the pressure, so would they fk be held up by two grey zip ties. Even the valve there looks like a water valve ours were a lot more compact and serious looking. But perhaps things have changed.
Granted it was big injectors but even with a capacity far larger than pictures they got a couple of runs only. I saw a few installations on various GSXRs and they were actually fairly neat though. The bulky bottles and accompanied long swing arms were the only real give away. The former removed for road use.
I actually find it quite interesting although it was a bit over my head at the time. I seem to recall him endlessly pricking away with a set of dials and an LED display under the seat after each run, but as I say it was pretty tidy.

no contention that the kits exist, but as we're saying, it'd be good to see how it's been implemented. Not just the NOS installation but the fuel enrichment.... Which is why I'm scepticalhttp://www.noswizard.com/bike-nitrous-kits/street-...
