Foward Racing are going to run the MV Agusta WSBK and WSS bikes on behalf of the factory - http://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/224388/1/forward-ra...

So less polishing and more working.

Melandri to be test rider, Camier was confirmed for 2016 again by the factory, I guess that is not going to change.

and Forward leaving MotoGP so that's 2 spaces on the grid going spare next year along with 2 open class Yamahas - http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/224390/1/forward-...

I think that's a poor choice by Tommy Hill, would have preffered to see one of the young guys like Mossey, Buchan or even Stapleford being given a chance on the R1.
Easton is good on a Supersport but the superbike is too big for him, he's only won four races in the seven seasons at superbike level.

I agree, maybe he thinks Easton is a relatively safe bet and wont throw it up the road as much as the kids....

New team, need make a splash and good to have experienced riders for your first season.

Look at GbMoto having Ellison and Walker initially in their first year in BSB. They can take a flyer on Stapleford now as they've got the factory backing they needed.

Sometimes the medium to long game is being played.

You're forgetting that GB Moto had a couple of years entering Fireblades in BSB (after super stock & endurance racing) before switching to Kawasaki & entering Walker & Ellison.

Wasn't Lowes with GB before he moved to Samsung?

Fair enou, but the plan with the switch to Kawasaki has worked nicely. Obviously, I'm assuming that was the plan, I can't see Mark S-H stumbling along blindly given how successful he is in other walks of life.

No, not GB, but a team that used to race cars as well, entered 3 Fireblades & I cannot remember their name, lacking in sponsorship & folded/pulled out unfortunately

Wonder if that had anything to do with them getting comparatively uncompetitive machinery from Yam.

More to do with the boss man being investigated for fraud I would think.

Are we talking about Forward racing or Team WFR? Google the boss of the latter to see what a naughty boy he was.

I know. I was being rhetorical to point out the other team that we were discussing had similar issues
