Racing Silly Season - Who's Going Where For 2017?
Discussion
Off the radar so far - Buildbase BMW. Didn't Jackson sign late last year ?
I saw something on youtube the other night and Whitham hinted at a international racing in BSB that hasn't been announced yet. I cant think of another top team that's not announced the line up now.
I sort of thought Haslam may come back this year, not heard who he's riding for ( maybe he meant coming from international racing )
Also is Walker hanging up his leathers ?

Probably fed up waiting on Aprilia, Haslam to BSB with JG Speedfit - http://www.crash.net/bsb/news/225796/1/haslam-retu...
3 rider team of James Ellison, Peter Hickman & Leon Haslam. They mean business this year.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Haslam ends up at Buildbase BMW.
I was hoping that Cooper would be announced as the other Buildbase rider but that seems to have gone quietLee Hardy racing haven't announced Hickman's replacement either
Seeley will be on the Lee HArdy/RAF Reserves bike
Leon signed a fortnight ago, and it was fairly obvious what was going on when he was seen outside the workshop here in louth in GB moto gear last friday...
He will go well, ive stuck a tenner on him winning the title.

Cooper was announced on a two year deal shortly after re joining the team.

There's no mention of Cooper on the BSB website or on Crash! so this may not be correct.Seeley will be on the Lee HArdy/RAF Reserves bike

Its great to have him back in BSB in my opinion!
I remember Leon in the Airwaves Ducati team with Greg Lavilla. I thought he might have one a BSB prior to shipping off to WSBK but always seemed to be on a bike that he never really gelled with. It's a shame coming back without having one one title there. but hope he's timed it with the right bike this year to put up a great fight.BraveSirRobin said:
So are Aprilia putting all their eggs in the MotoGP basket for 2016?
Seems odd that they would just abandon WSBK altogether after a reasonable showing with Red Devils in 2015).
Would it be worth a BSB team taking a punt on running last year's factory bikes?
Do they meet BSB rules?Seems odd that they would just abandon WSBK altogether after a reasonable showing with Red Devils in 2015).

and the problem is, it aint that great under the new wsbk rules either, hence why when they asked shaun muir for 2m per year per rider for him to be able to run the red devils bikes with very little development he told them to jog on!!

I know they don't meet the rules. It was just pointing it out the guy who thought you just turn up at BSB and ride what you brung. and the problem is, it aint that great under the new wsbk rules either, hence why when they asked shaun muir for 2m per year per rider for him to be able to run the red devils bikes with very little development he told them to jog on!!

Josh Elliott joins Tyco BMW, but stays in SuperStock 1000 to defend his title.
Bonkers isnt it. leaving the team you have won the championship with to go to the team you beat, and staying in the same series, walking away from the new zx10r with its batst crazy motor...Edited by LoonR1 on Sunday 20th December 10:56

Probably getting paid to ride, or at least paid more. It's a pretty meteoric rise for him though, it was only a few years ago, he was riding for a lad a few of us know well. I think they're also looking at him as a future BSB rider, Morello seem to struggle with their attempts, whereas Tyco are proven.
