I expect Haslam will take that WSB ride if its on the table, his contract is with Kawasaki anyway isnt it? So I don't suppose they'd be fussed whether he was riding in BSB or WSB, then again they are already having enough success in WSB..

Whats going on with Hutchy? Is he coming back to BSB for 2017? Tyco?
No, looks like superstock again for them, he isnt happy though, he is throwing a tantrum saying he deserves a bsb ride.

Also could end up at TTC on the New R6 in SSP.

Any news on Brookes?
Hawk Suzuki I think. He raced for them at the 8 hour.
He rode for Suzuki, nothing to do with Hawk, with a view to a wsbk ride when SMR were in talks to run the New GSXR.

Itll be TAS or HAwk for him. BMW and TAS/TYCO are mega keen, but he doesnt want to ride a BMW again, he really doesnt.

Halsall was the likely destination but now the official Yamaha gig in bsb has gone to TTC with Ellison & Laverty thats that door shut, and with bennets upping sticks and moving title sponsorship to Hawk, that leaves him with no bikes and no title sponsors, He said a few weeks back he was going to run roads only, with one rider, and was in heavy talks with Lee Johnson but that seems to have faded.

The difference being his last go at wsbk he was on a uncompetitive bike , if this time around things have fallen into place to try again with a decent bike i think he'd give it a shot.
What would be a competitive bike though with both kawasakis and ducatis spoken for? Would need to be one of those two to tempt him back surely.

Anyone know what's been announced yet? I'm not on social media so patiently waiting on here!
Hardly, he was Checa's team mate at Altea Ducati in 2010. Checa won three races, 3rd in the championship and scored nearly twice as many points as Byrne. Even in 2009, Shakey was touted as the big rival for Ben Spies, BSB chap vs AMA.

hes taking 1 or 2 with him, but overall the Bournemouth boys are a very good bunch, maybe even a step up from GB.

Looks like there are a lot more riders than there are teams / seats this coming year, especially with the influx from WSB.

"the re-signing of reigning National Superstock 1000 champion Taylor Mackenzie who will aim to defend his title on board the new Suzuki"

'Defend' sounds like Superstock to me.

Taylor on stocker, coops on one of the sbk's, guinters or Brookes on the other.

Don't count chickens on Dunlop being on a Suzuki with hawk either. As of Tuesday he & Hicken were discussing running beemers again in basically the hawk team structure but under the MD racing banner. All depends on when they get the bikes and how much factory support is actually arriving

I'd heard it was a done deal MD will carry on with the BMW & they'll develop the Gixer in 2017 with MD making the switch then, by the way that'll be some record to have won with so many different manufacturers if he manages it.
