I've edited the title to 2017 just to keep everything in one thread.

Their bikes didn't do much last year though, and without support from Yamaha I can't see that changing. I really rate Brookes as a rider but think he'll struggle, if an ex-Moto Gp rider like Hopkins couldn't do much on the same bike last year(yes, I know THM were a new team last year and Anvil should have more data etc), can't see Brookes having much more luck, particularly with new or updated bikes from the other Jap manufacturers this year. Even Brock Parkes said the R1 he rode a few times last year(with little support) was very different from the Milwaukee bike that benefitted from a load of Yamaha help.
Parkes said he really liked last year's bike and hated the Milwaukee one.
Yet there were the same bike, apart from shock linkage....

really? There wasn't anything at all that had been tweaked, or altered at all? You never did clarify what you do in the paddock that makes you so knowledgeable. Why the secrecy?

He's a real talent and a definite dark horse for the showdown. If he gets his head around the bike and ends the season like last year then he could win the championship.

I hope not.

He's doing great as he is and I think has a plan by the looks of it hence the staying in bss and defending his title.

What will he prove by winning this year that he didn't prove last year?

I'd be amazed if he didn't clean up at BSS this year, it's arguably the weakest field seen in many years. I hope he does give Moto2 a try. I can't see why he wouldn't be competitive. Is more deserving of a ride in Moto2 than a lot of others in that class

Maybe some early testing for 2018? Chaz Davies who did the double at Imola get's to try out the factory Ducati MotoGP bike at Mugello, both Pramac riders are out of contract this year. I can seen one being replaced (going to Avintia/Aspar maybe)
