So now you go to plan B. Time to exact some justice where the law failed.

be too hard for the police to find the scummer.

Ask job centre when he arrives to claim his "jobseekers" and arrest him on arrival

That wasn't me, but could have been the same guy for sure!!

Latest update is that I found the reg of this dodgy persons "current" car and told the police.
They attempted to pull him over and he drove off, chase ensued, ditched the car and he eventually got away on foot.

He has lost his licence now, but according to the police he has a warrent out for an even more serious crime but is now currently on the run.

They have asked if I can still play detective and provide his current reg if I am able to.

I have provided it, because I am an amateur internet sleuth.. so its now just a waiting game.

I feel a citizens arrest coming on, where he unfortunately ends up with his arms broken in 'scuffle'.

Im already in that position myself after someone finished the job that this guy couldnt! - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

But to be honest, he has a car for sale detailing that he has lost his licence, needing a quick sale.
Last time I arranged to buy it so I could take pictures of him and identify him.
But for some reason the police wont arrange a fake purchase and nick him that way, they havent told me why.
I even told them his most recent mobile number, his new fake name, and the car details that he has for sale.

There must be something I am missing.. because If i wanted to catch this guy, I could literally have him stood infront of my face within 24 hours.
Oh dear - missed that thread - hope you are getting better. Karma is not looking after you at the moment.

Just tell the police he was speeding, or made a homophobic and racial slur against you - they'll be all over it then.

Get yourself down the police station and speak to a policeman rather than a *call centre operator*.

This. Not a chance in hell that he will show. Why the fu ck do they let scrotes like this out on bail. I expect even the coppers know it will be a no show. This then amounts to more work for them and the court....issuing warrants, finding the waste of space, more court time.......

MEGA UPDATE:

He got pulled over yesterday & failed to flee.
Due to his failure to reply to the NIP (in my previous posts) he was actually banned from driving due to totting up.
So driving whilst disqualified, which in turn means no insurance.
He also had a stolen motorbike within the vehicle he was caught in.
He was also wanted in connection with other offences in addition to his 'attempting to wound with intent' that he has against me

He has been arrested, magistrates court today, out on bail and crown court in 8 weeks.

I've been asked to go and give evidence along with the witnesses from the scene.
Any updates? Did he show?

I find this whole thread unbelievable on so many levels.

Top work though OP, but what on earth does it say about the justice system and our policing given the work YOU have had to put in.

I know of a very similar situation to yours where a close friend of mine was actually doing more digging and internet based detective work than the police, he gathered a lot of information pointing towards a eBay user selling stolen goods in vast quantities but nothing ever came of it.

How many hours did he put in? How high on the Police's list of priorities should his crime have been? Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast in any such situation that the low hanging fruit will be picked as top priority.

And this is what makes my piss boil. Surely they have him bang to rights? 9 months is an absolute joke. He should be banged up by now.

Of course, lets not forget how long it will take the cops to find him once he fails to appear his court appearance
