Good to see it has moved at a reasonable pace since your last update in October. They seem to be getting somewhere now.

Hope the shyster remembers to take his toothbrush with him

Good luck, hope it goes well.

Not based entirely on court experiene but it may be useful to do a few out loud practices/role plays before the day to get a clear response prepared to expected questions.

On another note, if you let us know which Crown Court I am sure some of us could come along and gasp for effect or mutter "I've never know such callousness" at key moments of your testimony. If that doesn't swing it...

Update is in!

He attended court today, escalated to Crown Court.
Plea hearing on the 21st of next month.

Asked if I want to provide another statement to say that I have been mentally or socially affected by his actions.
I rejected, I said that I wasn't mentally or socially affected, and that I am only interested in justice.

If he pleads not guilty, I will need to attend to give evidence, I was asked if I wanted a screen so that we cannot see one another.

I said it would be fine for us to look at one another.

Cant wait - I wonder if he will recognise me. wobble
Assuming you had a helmet on when the initial incident occurred how could he recognise you? Makes it look worse him with his string of offences and probably no clue who you are. Do you know what charge/s he is facing?

I should skim read mildly familiar threads before posting. wobble

Completely forgot OP went to all that trouble and fair play to him.

You should answer that you have been mentally and socially affected. I move about 3 inches further right wing after every one of these sort of incidents smile

GOOD! Hope he gets whats coming to him!

I had a near miss earlier this year. Head cam got it all... Multiple attempts to contact police failed miserably with them seemingly unable to process or action the simplest of requests. it really does beggar belief and can only result in ordinary people taking the law in to there own hands.

I wish i were as persistent as you.
