I stopped posting because I thought everyone was sick of my st and because all the interesting people stopped posting as much.

I have met people from here in real life and had a really good laugh so they know I am not a dick (I hope) and I come across aggressive on here because I am so used to having to defend myself from piss takers that I am always on the attack hehe

I love BB, it's the only thing I read and sometimes post on PH nowadays really.
It sometimes seems like you need to have false teeth and a walking stick to post in here. Glad you're back. Even if you're getting an old man's bike wink

Also, do agree that the pettiness etc has become noticeable recently. Definitely puts a lot of people off, especially would-be new posters, hence clique solidifies and the cycle continues. Whoever it was above who said they just blindly post ignoring the vitriol has got the right idea! People take forums far too seriously.

However until that time... I envisage you riding a BMW GS1200 with touratech equipment a flipface lid and a POLITE dayglo vest. Thats how I see you.
Oof! Calling someone a nob or a wanchor is fair play, but that's a bit harsh!

You have to keep posting, you're the one that makes everyone else feel clever with spanners!

If I don't have anything nice or helpful to add to a thread I will not post.

Life's to short to get into forum heated debates.

And the only way BB will turn into GG/Lounge is if we get nobs posting about grammar or poor spelling
:ahem:

PS...you missed a full stop.

When you meet other bikers for the first time, people are normally friendly, polite, happy and excited to share positive stuff about their bike/new farkle accessory etc and make the effort to be nice or try to offer as helpful advice as possible without offending. People often provide complementary remarks - especially if the biker/owner is happy to share something about their biking hobby/interest.

And if there is nothing positive to be said, then one normally keeps some discretion, and may keep that conversation for a private 1-1 depending on how well they know the person.

It would be a whole lot better and more inclusive if people took the same approach to BB.
Isnt it about time you bought me a coffee, its your round!
Easy, you might get accused of pushing the envelope with that request! yikes Or are you simply leveraging opportunities? scratchchin

biggrin

No just a skinny latte extra shot extra hot. No bank envelopes will be pushed, honest guv

Since I read about these "envelope" things on BB last week, ive been noticing its use everywhere. Just reading bike magazine the other day and there were multiple mentions of this mystical "envelope"

So BB is obviously ahead of the trend, give it a few weeks and your boss at work might be talking about your performance envelope ...

fk me there’s some anger in here of late

What the fk is up with you lot?

I remember when this place was friendly and helpful and the only vitriol that appeared was when that dumbass Stigmongfreud piped up

What’s it going to be like when winter sets in if you lot are already at each others throats?
I couldn't agree more tbh frown
Shame

Since it's taken you a fortnight to reply to this topic, I'm guessing it's not something that should concern you too much.
It's all a big, huge love in again.
