There have been some great bike related photo's posted in here so for a bit of light relief lets have a little competition.

Please post three of your favorite biking related photo's each with a short description on why it's your favorite. They don't have to be photo's of your bike or even have a bike in them. But they must be bike related photo's that you've taken, you're featured in or photos that are personal to you. They could be of you and your mates on a bike trip or maybe something you've seen on a bike trip or maybe from a track day? Think hard before you post as your photo could be immortalised wink

Once we have a hundred picture posts I'm going to ask Mitzy to select the best 12 photo's from which I'm going to make a 2016 BB calendar. If it proves popular I will get a few professionally printed and will take orders for anyone that wants one at cost.

Great idea.
We've seen plenty of cracking photos on here this year so hopefully you'll be inundated with them.

Great idea,

For a few years I designed Calendars for the TVRCC, and used these people to print them:

Competitive pricing, great quality, and fast turn around.

Hope it's of some help.

Good luck.

I love this photo of One of my good mates, he's such a funny lad, he's also One of those people that everyone without exception likes when they meet him.

The photo was taken on a red hot summers evening 2 years ago when he was taking photos of myself and another mate.

Charitable donation?

I don't care what it is, I would just ask it's UK wide rather than just England or London.

This photo taken by the lad on the above GSX-R at Croft. His brief before I went out was "give us a wave Hilda when you go down the back straight".

6 months after having my thigh re-attached back too my hip I was having a laugh at Cadwell, there were about 10 of us and we all drank too much and had no sleep due to camping the previous night.

It was nigh on 30 degrees that day as well.

You must have been so fking quick you managed to stop, run and take the photo, run back and get in the frame.

What a tool you are.

I didn't think he literally meant photos and only photos you had taken...

Initially I did because I didn't want professional photos. But as there some great photos that feature BB peeps I'll open the rules up a bit to allow them.

If the photos are to be used for onward publication and sale, for reasons of copyright, I think all photos submitted should be taken by and owned by the person submitting. Trackday photos taken by 3rd parties really shouldn't be included unless the person submitting them took them in the first place.

Just post the pictures and we'll cross any copywrite issues if they arise. Chances are they might not be judged to be the best anyway. And there is no 'forsale'. The calendar will be based on donations to cover the cost of printing only. All design time will be donated by me or other volunteers. It's a bit of fun so let's not over complicate it.

A bit boring but it's great to see a pile of bits you've been working on for 8 months slowly turn into a bike.

Great idea Andy.

Just to get help the ball rolling, here's one that shows, for me, what bikes are all about:
