I was going to go yesterday or today, but thought again when I saw the day entry prices. I'll have to remember to buy them well in advance next year. I saw a bit of the quali just now and thought the circuit looked pretty busy with, less cheapskate obvs, spectators - it usually looks empty for anything other than the F1 GP.

Early bird tickets purchased when the COW deal was announced cost £75 for the whole three days and included free parking and roving grandstand for Fri/Sat.

That is good value.

Those moaning about the price of tickets , you can get in for the whole weekend next year for £65 or £49.95 just for sunday.

I booked early and ended up paying about £100 for the weekend including a grandstand at Becketts (which is a good spot at a notoriously non-spectator friendly venue), Day of Champions entry and car parking for the duration. That's not a bad whack really for a "premier" event like MotoGP. I agree about the on the gate price being steep, I saw £130 on one board plus another £65 for a grandstand! Although, if people's lack of planning means that they have to rock up on the day and pay on the gate then I guess that's the sting in the tail.

The only money circuits make is on ticket sales. Everything else goes to DORNA. At least we have a british GP. Also, Silverstone is actually built and running unlike the circuit of wales, which will probably fail at the cost of millions.

Can't stand people moaning about the price of food. Food at events like that and car shows has always been expensive. Its not new. if it bothers you that much, bring a packed lunch.

People say silverstone don't deserve to host moto gp, the fact is sports is a business and no business is going to spend out to host a race and not make money.

Other countries governments pay the dorna fees, personally i'd prefer my taxes not to be spent on funding sports events.

Re the circuit of wales , it'll be interesting if it ever happens.
