Why doesn't BB organise our own hospitality box for the MotoGP at Silverstone? Could become an annual thing and we can all get on the turps and not worry about bikes or riding or lap times etc Just soak up the scene with people we (sort of) know.

I'll pick up catering, I'm a whizz on the old BBQ. Meat, beer & MotoGP is always a winner.

That is foookin expensive for such a shyte viewing circuit. And the organisers wonder why it is poorly attended!!

I think I paid 120 Euros(ish) for a 3day grandstand ticket at Jerez this year with excellent views and near enough to the track that you feel you are part of the same event

Is it poorly attended ?

I used to go to f1 there and was shocked how quiet moto gp was in comparison, from the helicopters flying in right down to the fact you could turn up on general admission and get a decent viewing spot.

I'd be great at that role. What do you think to the work I've done with Cal Crutchlow?

Best bit is generally the ride there. Bit of a dice through the roundabouts etc. If you're close enough you ride there, have your fun, turnaround, then go ballistic going home and confuse all the speed traps and fans still coming in because you is, like, going the wrong way dude!

Then watch it on the telly with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and fizzy pop. Et voilà - saved hundred quid (or two hundred if you're taking the missus) and a better view.

Cannot be bothered to do it this year (either the actual enter the circuit expensive version or the comedy rubber ball version) due to weather so it's just the champagne brekkie.

I just dont know how they can justify £100 to walk through the gate. Thats ONE HUNDRED POUNDS FFS.... and then you have to liberally apply the vaseline to order some food or a drink. Oh yeah ... and you have to pay to park your friggin car - no thanks. The TV is just fine.

They were charging £45 yesterday for tickets I paid £15 for months ago. Disgraceful. That out the way, Moto3 were incredible. The corner speed was mind bending.

Because its the top rung of the ladder like f1.

If not enough people pay to go then its not worth the track bidding for the race and this country will loose its grand prix.

Yet other circuits manage to do it a damn site cheaper and offer a much closer experience

Silverstone doesn't deserve the honour of holding the British MotoGP

Lets get back to reality, other circuits get the race fee paid by there government.

Secondly forget all that honour ball crap the fact is nowhere else stood up and wanted the gp this year.

Silverstone originally bid for no other reason than they thought they could make money out of it. How much help do you think they had from Dorna this year?
Like I say, they don't deserve it. I have raced at that circuit and the BRDC treated us with contempt and while they will put on a smiling face because the cameras are there, it will be through gritted teeth
