Having pretty well destroyed the one piece leathers that I bought last year, it's time to start looking for a new set. These Alpinestars caught my eye, until I saw the price!

The 10 percent off code would come in useful there.

Bloomin eck! For that sort of money I'd want a happy ending everytime I wore them and even then I'm not sure!

Cheapskate, those 63k leathers only achieved 4 out of 5 stars and would expect you to go for the 5 star ones.

I quite fancy an airbag suit, wish I had bought a set a month ago

Still hurting? I don't think these are airbag either, which seems a bit rich given they're £63,000

Something is going on with their pricing lately, tried to buy an item and it was a different price in the checkout than on the page.

I know I'm leaving my purchase too, as its £30 dearer when I click on it than its priced on the main page. I want the cheaper price, along with the 10% which may well prove tricky as that expires on Monday.

Two crashes will do for a lot of leathers, plus they've had a lot of use without crashing.

You'd need to consider the dry cleaning cost too. That would make them a bit pricey all things considered.

I bought my most expensive ever set of leathers this season . I paid 599 pounds for last years BKS one piece suit . They fit so well and wear so well . Problem is the fit , I'm an odd shape and these were the only off the peg suit that ever fit right . Oh for those jammy bdds that can just buy off the shelf!
The atem is really tight on the arms and across the shoulders but another level again in quality . Too expensive for my needs though beautifully made

Went with these in the end, as I couldn't justify the Atem, even when priced correctly at c£750 discounted.

You'll be pleased to know I went with red, rather than yellow, just to confirm my LorenzoLoverLoon status wink

They look really good. I might be interested in a set like that myself.

What's the general fit like for Alpinestars? Are they more suited to tall and slim or more square physiques?

Tall and slim is about right for the fit on Alpinestars. I'm not overly fat but have no chance of fastening the calf zips on them. They're all fairly similar apart from the challenger suit which seems to be better for a lot of people. You'll probably find it's baggy round the arse. The majority of people I've seen try Alpinestars have this problem and when I asked both our reps and one of their R&D guys none of them had an answer. Well apart from the bullst from one of the reps which was "because Lorenzo likes it like that"

Tall and slim. Like Loon and me, respectively biggrin

I've seen all shapes and sizes in them, you'll just have to try some on.

I'm more round than tall & slim, or square. 56 seemed to fit well enough, although a little snug, they should break in OK hopefully.
