Hi Can anyone give a ball park figure to repair a small dent in my 636 tank? Just wondered what the costs would likely be I think double skinned so might rule out PDR system

It'll need filling then repainting, probably £300 if you want the original stickers, its really not worth fixing in my opinion, every bike has a dent/scratch somewhere.

you could try dropping a lit match into the tank, that'll probably blow the dent out wink

That's not a dent, just wait until a spare exhaust can does a lemming impression off a shelf and lands on your tank, now that leaves a dent weeping

Wait until you sell it, then fix all the cosmetic damage at once. If you fix it now, sod's law says some scooterist will undo your good work.

I can't see it being double-skinned; it'd add weight for starters...

PDR can be done from the outside, so double skinning isnt an issue.

There's a company in T Wells that does PDR using a glue patch technique - charges £60 or so a dent and no charge if they can't do it.

The owner is also a track day rider, so has an interest in bikes. Opposite the Skoda dealership in High Brooms.

I'd get rid of that big black circle first, if I were you.

Don't suppose you have the name of these guys? I'm literally just down the road and it'll be interesting to know the size of dent they can fix.
