Bit like me then.

He does seem to he riding very very well, extremely fast but controlled whereas he used to look ragged as anything when he first came here.

He was overriding the bike and trying too hard to win everything straight away. Now he's got a bike that's been his since Day One and he's revelling in having it developed just for him, following his feedback.

Yes definitely.
Should be some good racing this weekend, can't go myself as I am working Sunday and going to watch the rallying at New Brighton tomorrow!

And don't forget folks....this weekend is a triple header, so lots of points up for grabs for any rider on form...smile

Agreed he rode like a bit of a plank last year. However this he is like a different guy, seems to be racing with his head. Good on him.

I cant remember how it all works in the showdown. Do they all go back to 0 points and if its level at the end of the year whoever has the most podium credits wins ?

They all go to 500 points then podium credits are added then they score points as usual in the races. At the moment brookes has 545 points and Byrne 541 if the showdown started tomorrow. The nearest after that is Ellison I think with 519 points. It's likely to be a two way battle again unless Ellison picks up good points in all three races and the others score badly.

Both Supersport races were excellent - horrible crash for Reid tho.

Good effort from Byrne after the lunge post Safety car failed.

I really, really, hope the usual shyte weather at Brands in November doesnt decide the title like it did last year.

Big Byrne fan, but wouldnt be upset if bridesmaid Brookes finally did the deed either.

I hope shakey and brookes keep within reach of each other and we get a final like we did with hill v hopkins, obviously i don't care which of them wins.

Unfortunately Andy Reid, has a broken wrist, and it's not a straight forward break...probably out for the rest of the seasonfrown

Sam Hornsey, has a leg injury, not sure how bad...

Not surprised tbh. Both were pretty big offs.

Shame for Reid as he has found some form.

Big fan of ryde tho. Such maturity from a younf rider. His off was a big one too.

Hard to see see past Stapleford for a well deserved title IMHO.

As I type this Andy is sitting next to me on the sofa with a cast on having had the bones reset in place at the track medical centre. He is ok and thanks everyone for their concern and well wishes.
