BSB bikes bear very little relation to the road bike. They look similar in silhouette and that's about it. In simple terms though if you whacked the throttle open on your bike whilst still cranked over exiting a corner and braked to the maximum at the last possible second entering a corner then your bike would look a bit skittish too. Some riders like their bike to feel loose whereas others like it planted too.

Loon's not wrong, our 2014 super bike was not very similar to your road going zx10r at all, virtually everything is improved, apart from the frame really. The cost to take it to this (and keep it there) is pretty astonishing, especially as the bike wasn't really a contender ! egor110 said:
Don't the bikes have different characteristics though , even in race trim?
The yam needs to carry corner speed , not dive in brake and race out, the suzuki is very rideable but down on power
The riders can set them up how they want as they're almost infinitely fettle able. How they are set up is ideally to rider preference, but there are still things that are outside the control of the rider. Sometimes the bike just isn't working. Oulton though is a special track it is smooth but very up and down and what works well on one part of the track might not on other parts so it's a compromise. A rider may choose to have it set up perfectly for Clayhill, Druids and Lodge, but this could cock up the chicane handling, or the two fast lefts through Cascades and Island.

What a thrilling Supersport Race
Hope everyone who came off is ok
Amazing Race
Unfortunately Andy Reid, has a broken wrist, and it's not a straight forward break...probably out for the rest of the seasonHope everyone who came off is ok
Amazing Race
Sam Hornsey, has a leg injury, not sure how bad...
110% commitment from all of them, you could tell how much they were all pushing.

The Supersport races were brilliant especially the second one. It was a pity Reid had that crash as it would have been great to win with Keith in the garage and he is doing really well at the minute.
As for the Superbikes it was nice to see Shakey able to take it to Brookes although I'd love to see the Tyco boys up there more.

Anyone got any news as to if parkes is returning to milwaukee or will they be getting another rider for the showdown?

Don't know what's wrong with Laverty this year as normally he's one of the top riders. Since coming back from MotoGP he just hasn't been the same.
I guess last time he was in bsb the bikes had more rider aids then went to gp with more rider aids the back to bsb with no rider aids.egor110 said:

Just watched the SuperSport races. Superb. Best racing series of the season by a country mile. Glad the crashers are all Ok (of sorts). What a series, this is the stuff that every race series in the world should want to replicate.
Epic racing - they are super talented and super hungry , evident on every bend , every straight - gassing it and into every braking zone , absolutely committed - fabulous spectacle.LoonR1 said:
