Oh not really I guess, I never thought about it. I will try to change and have a more involved event (i.e., pissup at end) :-)

Can we unpack pre-day 1, or do we have to wait until the first "official" day?
Nice one Dan - just a thought as it kind of curtails the last and often best day, once you know the track and things generally thin out a bit (attrition!), can be your best track time and so many that met st Snetterton and many good old characters on this one, should be a blinder, shame Jon. H. ( moto-traxport) has to leave as stated.
No unpacking pre day1 as circuit is hired and in use as usual, this time by the MotoGP paddock, well, moto 2 and 3 and our stillages will only appear on the morning of day1 at about 8am. No point in being up there at 7 as they will put the stillages out behind garages across the paddock and that pretty much dictates which garage you're in....
Shame really as I have two mates on hire bikes so would ideally like to be up near them with our gang but no big deal....
Bit of a scramble day1 but it's track time 10am - 6pm so chill, relax, enjoy three full days and don't be tempted to race at it day1 like many and ruin the whole trip ! Can't wait - will all come together at Hotel night before !
D-A are you roomied up with anyone as yet ?, we have an odd number ,so got one solo . Unless you def. going single supplement - which is pretty dear ? Cheers.smile

Hi- if you want to PM me , I can get details and you can avoid that with a pairing - we'd better revert to the Jerez thread too , I guess ...! Cheers,GB.

Room sharing: I'd rather pay an extra £500 than share a room with a male stranger. Come to think of it, I'd pay £500 to share a room with a fit bird too.

Sharing a room with someone you don't know would be a nightmare for me.

The best one was when Gene Adam ( aka "Harry Monk "to many ) shared with a newbie solo guy , England based German who seemed a very odd sort of chap to him , but Gene being Gene he just cracked on and got on with his track riding , instructing and craic in the bar despite misgivings about the German . A week or so later it turned out this guy had been Peter Wallner , the chef cum wheelie bin wife murdering character.....

Anyway - shut it John , I know the guy ( so do you ) I don't think he has murdered anybody ....!
Can't be certain but he has slept at my house ...I survived !

Very Happy Anniversary to you both John , well done , I've made it past the First one , which surprised many , including the two of us ...!!
clap
And, Dan , sorry to hear of the little off , glad ok for Spain , see you there.
It is indeed very greasy and slippy out there at the moment - I wouldn't ride my old road bike in it unless I had too , which I don't , so absolutely no appeal whatsoever to splash and slip around a track just yet ( here)...!
Be safe , all.

Just got a news email from No Limits.

Looking at the June Brno trip, it says it's a 4 group event. Was this always the case, or was it initially 3 groups?

I'm going to Portimao this weekend. Was a very last minute decision. Parts arrived for the bikes last Friday at 0930, had them fixed by 11am, phoned the TD company to book it, loaded the van, and left at 1430 to drive to the bike drop off. talk about cutting it fine

i really wanted to do portimao this year but everyone i spoke to said it rains pretty often so for some reasonthat put me off. Looks a great circuit like a rollercoaster.
Im off to almeria in october for 4 days to finish off this years track riding. Ill probably do one of the more expensive moto gp tracks next year rather than 2 of the cheaper ones like this year. Im fancying mugello or aragon but both look like theyl blow my old 600 up with their straights.

Mckean have you used tracksense before? ive booked almeria with them, are they any good? im assuming its pretty similar setup to no limits for the running of the trip.

Fair play - I like the impulsiveness ! Look forward to hearing all about it so I know what to expect.
