If I'm proven wrong then I'll happily eat humble pie. However, so far it seems the approach is to call me names and giggle like a bunch of school kids.

The article from Bridlington, which involved the journalist ringing up and confirming it is still full of allegedly and apparently.

Either way, if I'm wrong then I'll accept it. I'm not paying your mates speeding fine unless he provides incontrovertible proof that that was how he got it, exactly as I said previously.

One question for agtlaw though. If someone is zapped by this then is it a letter based NIP? Or would someone down the road be able to stop them at the roadside and issue a ticket based on the (alleged) operator in the tractor having clocked them speeding?

They were given that and the livery cost was covered by NFU. That served a purpose around the theft of agricultural equipment where both JD and NFU have a vested interest in cutting out crime. The use of this one serves no purpose for either of them, so unlikely they'd give it to them.

According to the Brid Free Press as quoted above it has been allegedly purchased.
