I concur. I had the KR-1 (pre S) first, and then traded for a brand new RGV250P in 1993. The RGV was great, it felt more refined & smoother than the KR1.. but, the KR1 was more mental. The power band just banged in like flicking the nitrous, and it felt more exciting to ride! I’ll always remember riding on a ‘private driveway’ between Denham & Chalfont St Peter and hitting 13.6mph flat on the tank!
