You don't want any back pressure. You want an exhaust of the right diameter to give you maximum gas velocity for the desired rpm range of the powerband

I've learned something today. No wonder stubbies and moto GP style slip ons cannso badly affect four cylinder bikes.

I have an additional exhaust for my ZX10 suited for the IOM circuit should I wish to enter

PS - about 200mm longer than my other factory Arrow cans

Such an ugly bike.
Agreed, though it might look better in different colours. Then again, Kawasaki make the ZZR1400, possibly the ugliest hypersports bike in the world.

my eldest has come back from japan with a copy of Young Machine that has a spread on 2016 zx10 and it doesn't look much like it.
Unfortunately, i cannot read Japanese so i don't know if the images are just for the Japanese market only. Nose on the images is more H2 and the exhaust is different

still doesn't look that bad in black/charcoal

Surely that title still has to go to the Hayabusa!?

OK, so it looks much better in 'matte carbon grey'

Really can't wait to see the write-ups of this from some decent journo's. If they've improved its manners on the road as well as retained it's ability as a track weapon, this has to be a contender for "better than the new R1", Shirley?

I appreciate to some, the R1 is a better looker and has some decent tech on it, but on paper this should have bridged the gap between the outgoing ZX10-R and the 2015 R1.

Or am I getting all misty eyed over the new Ninjaaaaaa !?

The Hayabusa is a beauty compared to the ZZR smile

Sorry, I can't agree. The ZZR1400 doesn't look that bad, although the stock exhaust is a joke.

But not a fair comparison though guys. The H2 makes huge torque from low rpm to redline so it'll be MUCH quicker in a straight line than the ZX10 despite the apparent similar headline BHP numbers

Exciting times. Just the blade and gsxr left, then the old crew is back together.

It looks like it will be a great bike, I think it's definitely prettier than the S1000RR, I'm also interested in what the new Fireblade and GSXR will be like. I'm going to be in the market for a new bike next Year, but I've found myself getting less enthusiastic about the traditional I4s of late, probably because I've had so many of them over the Years.
Still I'd not rule the new ZX10R out.

Thinks it's a handsome looking bike. Agreed on the exhaust though could do with some tidying up.
