At least Smith was going quick when he binned it, just 0.3 off Lorenzo, he would have been 4th if he had made the final two corners.

Should be a cracker tomorrow, last years race was a 3 way fight to the flag, couple of second separating Lorenzo, Marquez and Rossi. 3 seconds back to Pedrosa.

Starts at 6am - long gone are the days of staying up.
I think my 2.5 year old will be up before me though!

Should be a bloody good race. I think there's been some interesting developments in pace recently.

The weather over there is always a wildcard.

Hope Kent takes his much deserved World Title.

Zarco is very well deserved.

A de A sounds really bad. Fingers crossed he's not too badly injured.

Block pass, lol.

Cannot believe we ever survived without the TiVo box, VR so close I cannot see JL running away with this one.

Great stuff again from Dani.

Title for Rossi now he can afford to finish behind Jorge in the remaining races?

Could see relief on Rossi's face at the end. Jorge is in some serious form and for Rossi to beat him to the title would be an amazing achievement.

Great ride from Pedrosa, he has a spell every year where he looks brilliant. If he could make that spell last 3/4 of a season instead of 3 or 4 races he would be a champion.

Another absolute blinder in terms of commentary too. If you tried to manufacture a more unpleasant, charmless, tedious, pointless, hateful, endless, screechy, wittering and godawful noise you'd break science. I'm genuinely cross there's still 3 races to go. I'd honestly rather rim Claire Balding.

The world feed team is worse. Boring, monotone and dull.

There was a clip during the post race interviews showing JL in the background looking very unhappy indeed. On to Philip Island next week, one of VR's favourite tracks.

If he can take a few more points of JL there, it surely becomes rather an uphill battle for JL, that said, VR almost needs to as far ahead as possible before Valencia, as it has always been a bit of a bogey track for Rossi.
