I went yesterday, enjoyed the day out and its nice to do something bikey in this crappy weather.

Sat on an S1000RR for the first time and was surprised how comfy it was, it seemed to 'fit' me perfect.

Also managed to pick up a new lid at a decent price, Shoei NXR Bradley smith rep for £299, which I love. Its really nice and light, comfy and feels excellent quality. Can't wait to try it out.
I got the same lid for the same price today, and a good price on a spare tinted visor seemed quite a decent deal.

Not sure the rest of the show was all that though. I covered most of it in around 2hours as apart from the big manufacturers stands, and lots of shops selling stuff for around the same or more than you can buy online, it's generally loads of stuff I have no interest in
Nice to have a sit on the 959 ducati though, and the cans are growing on me, especially the Akra Option ones

We tried to to make it to the show today, the only thing I got to sit in/on was the traffic, 2.5miles just to get to the edge of Northants. M1 was fooked.

We sacked it in the end, would have been lunchtime or later by the time we'd have got there, going to try and make it up Saturday..

I don't know, but I have a good paintbrush and a reasonable steady hand if she needs it re-applying smile

Enjoyed the afternoon at the show today as well. Been a few years since I been to it, well worth a visit though.

Three of us went yesterday and to be honest we were all a bit underwhelmed, it was very similar to last year even most of the stands were in the same place, very few new bikes and apart from helmets and the £5.00 oil change bucket I bought, not that many bargains. However the highlight was the tiny Bimota stand, I thought the small BMW G310R looked interesting, pretty little bike, should sell well.

Going over on Saturday with a mate. Prebooked the carpark so a whole £2 off that. Hopefully alot of people will be going throughout the week to avoid the busy weekend and it won't be too bad...

I always park in the station car park, much easier (and cheaper)
