So am I correct in saying that under EURO4 bks the underbelly exhaust is not road legal? Additionally any bike under EURO4 will be restricted to the oem exhaust?
The 959 Akrapovich under engine exhaust is a full race kit and therefore not EURO 4 compliant. The Akrapovich side exhaust is EURO 4 compliant. I think there will be plenty of manufacturers making after market exhausts that will work with bikes under EURO 4.Edited by Volition on Thursday 3rd December 09:34
Gents,
Sorry for the delay on the update.
I have managed to ride the 2013 GSXR and 2013 675r at this stage.
GSXR 750 - engine felt immense after coming off the CBR 600f. First time I gave it the beans in 2nd I giggled like a girl...
675r - definitely feels more nimble. Roads were wet when I was riding so I didn't really take the bike anywhere to what it can do (not that I could have done that in the dry anyway...). Funnily enough it didn't feel as rapid as the 750, I guess that's cause the triple torque curve is flatter so you don't get the 'boost' as the revs hit the power band.
Ergonomics on both bikes were absolutely fine.
I have a tough decision to make!

I got a phone call from Ducati reading yesterday to say they now have a 959 demo bike in stock if you're interested in riding one for comparisonSorry for the delay on the update.
