Fantastic story, loved the film and the way it was put together.

So, have to ask what are you doing now? After watching that I can't for one minute see you in an office, behind a desk.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks chaps, I really appreciate the comments. You never know when you put these things out there how they're going to be received, especially once personal elements are factored in.

Yep, I still have the bike. I couldn't sell it and for most of the time it just sits in the garage. I don't like riding it in England much as it feels to slow, especially when you're trying to get somewhere. It'll cruise at about 37mph so it is a bit steady. But she still runs good though. I had a new top end in Seattle before heading north to Alaska but other than that she's completely original, now on 95,000 kilometres.

If anyone's heading to NEC this week you'll see on the stand in Hall 4. I wrote a few books about my travels and have a stand selling them (don't worry, that's not a sales pitch)

To make ends meet I freelance for some of the bike magazines. I do stuff for RiDE and MSL. For a year or so after the America trip I edited Adventure Bike Rider Magazine and now do a few bits for Adventure Bike TV. I never had any of this in mind when I set off riding (I was working in a cafe when I left Sydney), but through the course of my travels I've kinda fallen into this side of things, for lack of other options as much as anything.

And setting up the stand today. Come and say hi if anyone's going. In Hall 4. Got free sweets.
