Since reading this thread I've been noticing foot dangling on my fellow commuters in the big smoke. Quite a few right leg danglers just after pulling away (for the first few seconds). Not noticed that many double-danglers though. It didn't annoy me at all though, especially compared to the kind of stuff you see from scooter/3-wheeler riders.

Quite often coming in through the paddock after a track day session I will straighten my right leg out, god that bike was uncomfortable no matter what I tried. Foot up as soon as I could when setting off.

I've helped you by selectively quoting the important bits smile Couldn't agree more BTW. Scooterists are a plague, especially in London. Wearing slip on shoes and a suit required to reach the level of total c*ntness.

Ok it's not dangling you leg at set off, but shows it might not be the best idea.
