The Exhaust looks loud, And also just out of interest where did you get the tail tidy from

I have been looking about to see what options company's make for this bike and not found one that does a tail tidy
The exhaust is a prototype system made by Austin Racing and yes its pretty loud but there are inserts which quiet it down and a normal end can with baffles which reduce the volume further. Its made from Inconel and does sound incredible. The tail tidy came from Evo Tech, really nicely engineered and nicer than the R&G alternative in my opinion.
I'e enquired about the Inconel Exhaust at Austin racing in the past. very nice indeed

I've got one. You wouldn't be disappointed. I've had a few litre bikes and this delivers like no other. It's beautiful detailed, well built with top quality kit as you would expect. Not much more expensive then other comparable in reality. It goes round corners and you don't really notice the weight. It's not as nimble as a duke or s1000 etc but you would have to be a far better rider then me to take advantage of that. It does accelerate like no other it's a bit like tuned 1098 and zx10r combined into one in the way it delivers and keeps going. It comfortably reaches the electronic limiter in less then half mile from a standing start as I found out at a recent speed trial. Plenty of aftermarket stuff if you know where to look and prepared to pay. Webike.jp is a good place to start.

I've just had the ecu limiters removed and full exhaust plus pc v and carbon BSTs.. That's an unusable 270hp for sts and giggles on a road bike.

I know of 1 written off uk. Silly accident you couldn't repeat if you tried. Rider ok but still healing, looking at street fighter or similar conversion...

They're suppose to handle very good for what they are, awesome on the road.

What were the tweaks to the new years models? makes a lot of exotica look boring.

Boo! The green frame looks awesome - and will be more collectable if you're thinking of residuals.

On the subject of Ace vs H2 my vote would go with the Kawasaki, the Ariel is a bit of a kit bike special without the lap times that make their Atom car special. The frame (which looks like a whippet taking a dump) is a thing of machined beauty but the rest of it very bitty. With Euro IV likely to strangle the "proper" manufacturers doing special stuff the H2 is likely to remain fairly unique.

One thing I don't like is the green, it does brake up the bike from being all the same colour which i'm not a fan of but I don't generally like greens bikes.

Now if the frame was Orange, yum

booked to pop down to Ariel on the 29th to see the bike with the wife. Won't be test riding until the Spring. will give me a little to think about with the H2 at the same time

I had a play with with it when I picked the Atom up it's gorgeous. Click the above for noise.

I'd take Ohlins on the front.

Many thanks for that. I've seen a reviews of people riding but not it ticking over. Sounds very much like my Speed triple with the Zard Cone fitted

lovely

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAWASAKI-NINJA-H2-/22197...

One on eBay currently for 23.5k 1-2 miles on the clock.

Another one at Hunts Motorcycles in Manchester for 22k with 300miles (i imagine there is a what 1-2% profit in this?) - http://www.nxgn-ltd.com/ezweblite/public/styles/hu...

List price was what 22k? Depreciation seems minimal enough? Would be interesting to see what price they will be in a year.

Two bikes I'd love to own as well.

The Ariel's engine is a peach (I might be biased), but I imagine the h2 to be on a different level all together.
