I thought the reason for not having a belly pan was to help the cooling on the exhaust? Given the absolutely immense heat it seems to generate under fast riding, I'd be worried about my bellypan going up in flames tbh.
I vaguely recall something along those lines too. The whole bike is fairly 'open' for that reason I think. I like it. spareparts said:
Great to see a different bike and glad you're enjoying it so far, Matt. The mirror paint work is ace. They had one at OYB in Aylesbury this past weekend, and I'm just not sure why they keep on demo'ing this bike by just revving the nuts off it. It's loud. We get it!
cheers budPicked up my thank you pack and 30th Anniversary pack for buying a H2. Very tidy presentation.

This sounds like a good opportunity for a challenge. You both have new bikes, The first one that posts a wheelie pick on said bike wins a virtual pint + 1000 man points
went out this morning to Honey Cafe in Wales as as per normal within 20 mils of being in Wales it started to rain. Bike looked like st after but she's cleaned now than fk
570 miles on her in 5-6 weeks and time to book in the 600 mile service next week so I can use full power all the time. HAHA maybe not
First time today I used the rain mode and my god felt like I was riding a 125cc bike. cuts the power greatly and also the engine braking. was not fun indeed but I can understand why it's there. sort of. I try and be smooth so anyone ham fisted would possibly find this mode helpful
I don't think the R10 Bridgestone's are going to last past 1000 miles. But had no issues using them in heavy rain when it came down. and they seems to be very good in dry weather.
pics from today.
before day out in chepstow
almost home
and then cleaned again
Still averaging around 32MPG and after the service going to see how low I can get
